Prized for its twisting foliage and unique flowers. The name comes from the flower buds that emerge from dark-coloured tubes, like a lipstick twisting out from its case.

Flowers most abundantly summer and autumn.

Grow lipstick plant in a medium to bright spot. The more light it gets, the better the plant will bloom. Some morning or late afternoon direct sun would be beneficial.

Allow the top two inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Soil should be lightly moist not soggy. Sensitive to cold water so avoid this when flowering.

Safe for pets

Comes in a plastic hanging pot, hanging can be removed if you want to place it on a shelf. If you would like a ceramic pot, get in touch for options.
