A beautiful tropical rainforest plant. Calathea Rattlesnake has attractive, green patterned leaves with a purple underside. As a variety of prayer plant the leaves open and close at dawn and dusk. It also has the added benefit of being a great air purifier so removes toxins.
It likes medium to bright light out of direct sun and humid conditions so is ideal in a bathroom or kitchen. Alternatively, put a tray of moistened pebbles under the pot to raise humidity.
