This unusual looking plant is actually a succulent from West Africa. It makes a great statement with its cactus stems that have spines along them and small leaves. The plant is also known as African Milk Tree due to the milky white sap that comes out when it is cut or broken. It is however an irritant and toxic so keep away from pets and young children. Given the right conditions it can grow into an impressive tree!
Likes a bright sunny spot but not too much hot afternoon sun as it may scorch my leaves. Let the soil dry out before watering. Comes with full care instructions and a ceramic pot which you can choose.
