With its tropical lobed leaves dusted with white variegation that can span up to 30cms across. Fatsia 'Spiderweb' is great for bringing the jungle vibe and brightening up a shady room. It has the added benefit of being a great air purifier, so removes nasty toxins.
They are adaptable, can cope with some light shade, bright indirect light, even a little direct sun. However, too much light will cause leaves to yellow.
Water when the top 2 inches of soil has become dry autumn/winter. Top inch spring/summer. Ideally use rainwater as the chemicals in tap water can cause edges to brown.
Frost hardy, this plant can tolerate lows of –10°C but best grown above 10°C.
