A stunning rare foliage plant that is a fairly new addition to the African Violet family, Streptocarpus 'Pretty Turtle' are grown for their intricate furry leaves, reminiscent of a turtles shell. They are also long flowering with violet trumpet shaped flowers. They're also very resilient which makes them an ideal houseplant.
They prefer a bright position out of direct sun or some gentle morning sun. Mine's on a bright North windowsill.
Water when the top 2 inches of soil have dried out. They prefer to be kept on the drier side.
Safe for pets.
Feed fortnightly spring to autumn with a high potash feed to encourage flowering. I use a tomato feed.
Plants current height 25cms.
Comes with your choice of pot and a detailed handmade care label.
